Going downtown ... again! Lunds Penfield opens May 15.

Just a couple of years ago we opened the first full-service grocery store in downtown Minneapolis and now we’re headed across the river to do the same in downtown St. Paul.

Opening May 15, Lunds Penfield will be downtown St. Paul’s first full-service grocery store!

Lunds and Byerly’s Kitchen is officially open!

5… 4… 3… 2… 1… Welcome to Lunds and Byerly’s Kitchen ! Our taps are flowing, our ovens are piping hot, and our food is fresh and ready to go.

Grand opening day was a rush – thank you to all who joined us! The morning started with a buzz of excitement and anticipation as everyone put the finishing touches on displays and triple checked every spotless inch. Our staff was eager to finally share what we’ve been working so diligently on these past months.

Cozy up to our fireplace with a glass of wine expertly paired with a chef-crafted flight of Alaskan salmon. Stop by to grab soup, salad, or sandwiches for the whole crew before heading out for a day of fun around Lake Minnetonka. Or simply check milk and bread off the shopping list on your way home.

You’ll soon be able to do all of this and more at Lunds and Byerly’s Kitchen, a first-of-its-kind food destination opening in The Promenade of Wayzata on March 6. This is a place for great food, personable expertise, and shopping convenience

 


The 143-seat restaurant and bar will feature chef-crafted seasonal offerings, stone oven pizzas, burgers, and more. We'll also have an impressive selection of wine and local craft beers.

Reuse and Reward: 5 million bags; $250,000 donated to Second Harvest Heartland

Thanks to you, we’ve officially reached the 5 million bag mark through our Reuse and Reward program!

What does this mean?

  • Our eco-friendly customers have used reusable bags 5 million times in less than five years.
  • Each time a reusable bag is used, we donate five cents to Second Harvest Heartland.
  • Our customers have helped us donate more than $250,000 to this nonprofit focused on hunger relief.
  • More than 925,000 meals have been provided to those in need!

 

Celebrate Earth Day with reusable bags

Earth Day is right around the corner and we’re celebrating with a tasting event on Saturday, April 20th in all 22 stores, and in honor of Earth Day, we want to encourage you to use eco-friendly, reusable shopping bags.



We offer reusable shopping bags in our stores that are washable and fold into a compact square for easy storage. Each time you use a reusable bag when shopping with us, we donate five cents to Second Harvest Heartland.

To date we’ve donated more than $225,000 thanks to our customers’ use of reusable bags!
